Welcome to the vibrant world of Kindergarten at NIS!
Our Kindergarten program, spanning KG 1 and KG2,'early learning goals' from EYFS a two-year journey of discovery and exploration. This pivotal phase fosters an environment where children engage in enriching experiences, fostering their confidence, independence, and holistic development across various domains.
With a thematic-based curriculum aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework (EYFS), our focus encompasses the seven key areas of development:
1.Physical/Motor skills
2.Personal, Social, Emotional skills
3.Language skills
4.Numeracy skills
5.Creative skills
6.Knowledge & Understanding of the world
7.Play-based, hands-on and experiential learning, STEM projects which are age appropriate.
In the spirit of fostering a nurturing learning environment, formal assessments are eschewed in favor of ongoing formative evaluations. Through a blend of oral, written activities, and video recordings, we meticulously track each child's progress within each thematic unit, keeping parents abreast of their child's developmental journey.

MEET OUR
Head of Section – Kindergarten
Ms. Asma Batool
Ms. Asma has been associated with NIS for the past 8 years. She has taken up several leadership roles across Emirates. She is a certified early childhood trainer with Montessori certifications in addition to it she holds a PhD in psychology and Masters in Linguistics.
